How to Build a High Performing Board
Written By: David Jones
From Connect '13: As long as there have been Boards of Directors there has been conflict with ministry leaders leading to a great deal of dysfunction and role confusion. This workshop will clarify the role of the Board in a Christ-centered organization, define the twelve responsibilities of Board members, profile the ideal Board member, provide remedies for recruiting exceptional Board members, explore Board governance challenges, help you create productive Board meetings, examine the questions Boards should be asking, and show you how to work with and build an All-Star Board that can take your ministry to a new level of growth.
